At home finishing a brand new car. Equally at home bringing a 1987 interior back from the dead.
Carbon Collective Nuovo SiO2 Plastic Protectant is developed with the same active SiO2 content as their coatings, ensuring maximum protection for your interior and exterior plastics. The spray & wipe formula leaves a non-greasy OEM level finish on all plastic finishes, protecting from harmful UV rays whilst repelling dust, dirt, water & stains.
Nuovo is at home on a brand new vehicle — finishing off interior surfaces after a detail, locking in that fresh factory appearance with genuine SiO2 protection. And it has the inherent, almost uncanny ability to massively restore the aesthetics of tired plastics on old timer vehicles from the '70s, '80s, '90s, and 2000s. Dried-out, faded, chalky trim that's been baking in the sun for decades responds to this. The difference is not subtle, and it has kept me from buying replacement parts for my old girl!
Nuovo has anti-static properties — keeping surfaces free of dust and debris for longer, while the melon scent freshens the cabin. The easy-clean protective finish lasts 6 months on interior plastics, 6 months on engine bay plastics, and up to 3 months on exterior trim.

What it does
Active SiO2 content — the same chemistry as their coating lineup. This isn't a dressed-up conditioner — it's genuine ceramic-level protection in a spray bottle.
Non-greasy OEM+ finish — no cheap dressing sheen, no slick residue. The result reads as factory-correct on every surface type.
UV protection & abrasion resistance — blocks the UV degradation that grays, cracks, and fades plastic over time. Particularly relevant for exterior trim and any plastic seeing regular sun exposure.
Anti-static — treated surfaces repel dust and debris for longer between details. Interior trim stays cleaner on its own.
Water repellant — hydrophobic surface behavior on exterior trim and engine bay plastics. Dirt and water bead off rather than bonding in.
Plastic restoration — the ability to reverse years of UV oxidation on older vehicles is significant. Faded, chalky, dried-out trim responds in a way that makes you question why you waited. Apply to cleaned surfaces, panel wipe if necessary as well.
New car or old timer — Nuovo doesn't care. On a fresh vehicle it's the finishing step that locks in that OEM appearance with real SiO2 protection. On a '70s, '80s, '90s, or early 2000s vehicle, it's something else entirely. Decades of UV exposure, heat cycling, and neglect leave plastic looking gray, chalky, and dead. Nuovo has an almost uncanny ability to reverse that — the restoration is not subtle, and it lasts. If you've got an old timer sitting in the garage with interior plastic that looks its age, this is where you start.
