Built on the Softy Series foundation. In development since 2019. The preferred wash pad for ceramic coated paint.
Being built on the foundation laid by the Softy Series, the KLiN Korea Softy Series HD Pad takes softness to the extreme. In development since 2019, the pads feature an ivory color specifically chosen to let you closely monitor exactly what is going onto your paint — contamination picked up during the wash is visible immediately, before it can be reintroduced to the surface.
This has long been the favorite on a ceramic coated vehicle because of how gently it lifts dirt and releases it from the fibers. The thick internal pad sponge gushes wash solution after every dunk, keeping the pad loaded with clean lubricating solution — ideal for upper panels where wash-induced marring is most visible and most likely to be noticed.

Why the Softy HD on ceramic
The upper sections of a vehicle — the roof, the hood, the upper doors — are the most visible areas and the most susceptible to wash-induced marring being noticed. These are the panels a customer looks at first. The Softy HD Pad's thick sponge core re-loads with clean solution on every bucket dunk, ensuring those panels are always washed with fresh lubrication rather than the diluted, contaminated solution left in a less capable pad after the first few passes.
On ceramic coated paint specifically, the combination of extreme softness and easy fiber release means dirt lifts away rather than being dragged. The coating's hydrophobic properties do part of the work — the Softy HD Pad does the rest without applying the kind of friction that a standard pad introduces at the surface.
The ivory color is intentional
White and ivory mitts are not an aesthetic choice — they are a functional one. When a mitt picks up contamination during a wash, you need to see it before it contacts another panel. With a dark mitt, you cannot. With the Softy HD's ivory finish, contamination is immediately visible and the mitt can be rinsed or retired before the problem becomes a surface issue.
This is especially important on high-value or ceramic coated vehicles where the standard of care justifies knowing exactly what is touching the paint at every moment of the wash process.
