SHIFT Intensive Cleaner was primarily formulated as a glue and tar remover. Throughout development it proved capable of far more — underseal, waxoyl, tyre rubber, track rubber, wheel weight glue, engine grease, oil build-up, and years of accumulated grime. One formula for the jobs that nothing else wants to touch.
In development since early 2019 and through multiple revisions, SHIFT is now in its final, perfected form. The kind of product you reach for when the surface needs real work done — not just cleaned, but stripped back to what's underneath.
Use a dedicated towel for this — something you're happy to toss afterward or repurpose as a shop rag. SHIFT does its job, and the towel absorbs the evidence.

Tar & Road Film
Spray directly onto the deposit and leave to dwell for a few seconds until a brown liquid can be seen running from the tar. Wipe with a clean microfibre. Repeat if needed.
Tyre Dressings & Rubber Build-Up
Outstanding for removing old dressings, tyre soap, and stubborn sidewall grime. Saturate a microfibre cloth, rub across the sidewall, re-apply until clean, and rinse to finish.
Wheel Weight Glue
Spray directly onto the surface and use a squeegee or plastic blade to remove foam backing material first. Once the glue is exposed, re-apply and wipe with a microfibre cloth.
Engine Bay & Mechanical Grease
Spray directly onto the area and allow to dwell for 1–2 minutes. Agitate with a stiff bristle brush if needed, then rinse to remove years of oil, grease, and grime build-up.
Waxoyl & Underseal
Classic cars frequently have over-applied waxoyl and underseal. Spray directly onto the affected area and wipe with a microfibre, repeating until the desired result is achieved.
Track & Tyre Rubber Deposits
Spray directly onto the affected area. Using a cloth, lightly wipe in a lifting motion until the rubber deposit has been fully removed.
Application Notes
SHIFT works differently across surfaces — dwell time and method vary by what you're removing. Test a small area before direct application on unfamiliar surfaces. Always wear gloves during use.
