Koch Chemie · Gummifix GUF · Rubber & Plastic Dressing · 5L
Isopropanol-Based. Satin Finish. Slip Resistance Retained. Not blue goo — not a spray that needs babying. Just a clean, dark, correct result.
Koch Chemie Gummifix is a solvent-based dressing designed to renew rubber floor mats, weather-resistant plastic flooring, and any surface where slip resistance is a functional requirement. Clean first, apply Gummifix, allow to dry — and the surface is restored to a dark, rich finish with the slightest satin sheen and zero slickness added.
This is an isopropanol solution. It is not the thick blue goo dressing you might be expecting — the consistency is closer to water or rubbing alcohol. It applies to a high shine and flashes off quickly, exactly as you would anticipate from a product that smells like ethanol. No fragrance. No residue. No slick hazard on a mat that needs to stay grippy.
Sprays and general-purpose dressings require extra work to achieve a uniform satin finish on these surfaces and you'll end up using an applicator or towel anyway. Gummifix cuts straight to the correct result without the extra steps. Use a cheap applicator — this product will work it hard, and there's no reason to sacrifice a good one here.

How to Apply
Clean the surface first with Koch Chemie Green Star diluted 1:10, or another APC at appropriate dilution. Wipe dry with a microfiber. Apply Gummifix into a cheap microfiber applicator and work it into the surface. Allow to dry — the isopropanol flashes quickly. That's it.
Use a dedicated applicator or towel. There's no need to sacrifice a good microfibre here — the product and the surface will work it hard. Reserve quality towels for the wipe-dry step during prep.
Primary Use

Cheap microfiber applicator · APC for pre-clean · dry microfiber wipe before application
Cut to the chase and get the job done right the first time. Gummifix is the correct product for slip-resistant surfaces — not because there aren't alternatives, but because none of them look the same.
Directions & Key Notes
Gummifix is an isopropanol solution — not a gel or thick dressing. Consistency is water-like. It smells like rubbing alcohol or ethanol and applies to a high shine before flashing off to a satin finish quickly. No fragrance. No blue gel. If that's what you were expecting, this will be different — and better for the application.
