Koch Chemie Ceramic Effect Shampoo was made for the bucket-wash process. With reasonable cleaning properties, CES is designed for a vehicle that is already relatively well kept — not a decontamination tool, but a maintenance wash with benefits built in.
Most effective on a vehicle with a pre-existing ceramic coating, CES helps restore some hydrophobics, adds gloss to the surfaces, and brings back that second-week feel of a freshly coated car. A dose of 50ml in around 2.5 gallons of water is all it takes — wash and fully rinse.
Koch Chemie have been intentional in calling this a shampoo. Apply it as one — via bucket and wash pad or mitt only. This is not a product to run through a foam cannon. It is not formulated for that application method and should not be used that way.

Intentionally a Shampoo — Not a Foam Koch Chemie made a deliberate choice in how this product is categorized. It is a shampoo, and it performs as one. Bucket and mitt application is the correct method — foaming it changes the chemistry and defeats the purpose.
Use & Application
Add 50ml to approximately 2.5 gallons of water in a wash bucket. Wash the vehicle using a quality wash mitt or pad. Rinse fully before moving to the next section.
If washing outdoors, avoid working in direct sunlight — or wash and rinse one section at a time if sun exposure is unavoidable. Allowing the solution to dry on the surface before rinsing can cause spotting.
Shake before use. Store away from excessively hot or cold temperatures — extreme temps affect the formula and shelf stability.
