Platinum Glass has been formulated from the same technology as the Platinum Wheels and Platinum Paint coatings. Using strong chemical bonds, the coating becomes the new functional layer on the glass surface — not a film sitting on top of it.
When applied, wiper blade use is significantly reduced as the superhydrophobic sheeting properties activate at speeds as low as 30mph. Water clears the glass before the wipers need to move. Visibility improves. The driving experience becomes safer, particularly in heavy rain and at speed.
Two coats are recommended. The first lays down the base layer. The second ensures 100% coverage and complete residue removal. Simple wipe-on, wipe-off application — no additional products needed.
