Carbon Collective · Surface 2.0 · Disinfectant Interior Detailer
Kills 99.9% of Bacteria & Viruses. Then keeps working on the surface after you've put the towel down.
Most interior detailers remove dust and fingerprints and leave everything else behind. Surface 2.0 is a ready-to-use, residue-free disinfectant cleaner that kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses in a single application — including flu, human coronavirus, and drug-resistant pathogens such as MRSA, VRE, and CRE — and continues protecting the surface for up to 24 hours afterward.
It removes daily dirt and grime build-up while leaving the surface purified. The spray-and-wipe formula leaves a streak-free OEM finish on all interior and exterior hard surfaces: textured plastics, leather, rubber, metal, composites, and optical glass.
Unlike alcohol-based interior detailers, Surface is a 3-in-1: it kills harmful bacteria, removes dirt, and brings the surface back to an OEM finish — eliminating the need for additional products.

"Kills the bacteria at the source — rather than covering up the smell with a scent."
— Carbon Collective · Surface Interior Detailer 2.0What Surface 2.0 does
How it works
Surface uses specialist polymer chemistry to form an invisible protective film that traps antimicrobial actives on the surface. That film keeps working through repeated contact, abrasion, and recontamination — giving ongoing protection long after the initial clean.
Efficacy & contact times
Contact time varies by organism and test standard. Keep the surface wet for the full time listed.

Most interior detailers clean the surface. Surface cleans what's on it — and keeps protecting it.
Purified, protected, and streak-free. Keep every surface as considered as the exterior.

Common questions
What's the difference between Surface 2.0 and a standard interior detailer?
Standard alcohol-based detailers remove dust and fingerprints. Surface 2.0 also kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses and leaves an invisible film that keeps protecting the surface for up to 24 hours.
Is it safe on leather, screens, and optical glass?
Yes. It's residue-free and streak-free on leather, rubber, textured plastics, metal, composites, and optical glass, including infotainment screens and buttons.
How long does it need to sit before wiping?
It depends on the organism: 30 seconds to 5 minutes for bacteria, 10 minutes for viruses. Keep the surface wet for the full contact time, then wipe off any excess.
Will it get rid of smells in a used car or one that's been in storage?
Surface neutralizes odors by killing the bacteria that cause them, rather than covering them with fragrance — which is why it's a go-to for used vehicles and cars coming out of storage.
Efficacy data is supplied by the manufacturer. Kill rates and contact times reflect Carbon Collective's testing to the ASTM, AOAC, and EN standards listed. Surface is not an EPA-registered disinfectant.
